T.S. BLACKWELL

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you visit the T.S. Blackwell website, how that information may be used, the service providers involved in processing that information, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

Information may be collected when you voluntarily provide it or when certain technical information is generated through your use of the website.

  • Newsletter information: your email address and any other information you voluntarily provide when you subscribe to the T.S. Blackwell mailing list.
  • Contact information: your name, email address, subject line, message, and other information you voluntarily include when you use the contact form or communicate by email.
  • Technical information: service providers may automatically receive limited technical information associated with requests or submissions, such as an IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and security or delivery logs, as necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot their services.

2. Newsletter Subscriptions

If you choose to join the T.S. Blackwell mailing list, the email address and any other information you voluntarily provide through the signup form may be used to send author news, new-release information, cover reveals, behind-the-story content, special announcements, and occasional subscriber-only material.

The mailing list is managed through MailerLite. When you submit a newsletter signup form, your email address and related subscription information are provided to MailerLite for subscriber management, double opt-in confirmation, email delivery, automation, and related reporting. MailerLite acts as a service provider in processing subscriber information on behalf of T.S. Blackwell.

You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in marketing emails. Unsubscribing stops future marketing emails, although limited records may be retained where reasonably necessary to document consent, honor an unsubscribe request, maintain security, or comply with applicable obligations.

3. Contact-Form Submissions

When you send a message through the website, the name, email address, subject line, message, and other information you provide are submitted through Formspree. Formspree processes the submission so it can be delivered for review and response and may maintain submission records according to the applicable account settings and service terms.

Messages sent to T.S. Blackwell may then be routed through ImprovMX for domain-email forwarding and received or answered through Gmail. These services necessarily process message content, sender and recipient information, and related delivery data to transmit and manage the correspondence.

Contact-form information will not be used to add you to a marketing mailing list unless you separately choose to subscribe.

4. Cookies & Analytics

The website does not currently use a standalone advertising or behavioral-analytics service. The site may use limited cookies, logs, or similar technologies that are necessary for basic functionality, security, form processing, email subscription services, or other services requested by you.

Third-party providers used by the website may use their own cookies, logs, or similar technologies when their services are accessed. If advertising, behavioral analytics, embedded media, or other materially different tracking technologies are added in the future, this policy will be updated and, where required, appropriate consent or preference controls will be provided.

5. Third-Party Services

The website relies on third-party providers to operate specific features and communications. These providers may process information as necessary to perform their services and are governed by their own privacy terms.

  • MailerLite: newsletter signup, subscriber management, double opt-in confirmation, email marketing, and related automation and reporting.
  • Formspree: processing and delivery of website contact-form submissions.
  • ImprovMX: forwarding email addressed to T.S. Blackwell domain addresses to the account used to manage correspondence.
  • Google / Gmail: receiving, storing, and sending correspondence associated with T.S. Blackwell email communications.
  • Netlify: website hosting, content delivery, HTTPS/TLS, security, and related technical infrastructure. Netlify may process limited technical data such as IP addresses, request information, timestamps, and server or security logs as necessary to deliver and protect the website.
  • GoDaddy: domain-registration and DNS infrastructure associated with tsblackwell.com.

These providers may process information in locations outside your state, province, or country. Their own privacy policies and service terms govern their processing practices.

6. How Information Is Used

Information collected through the website may be used to operate and improve the site, deliver requested communications, respond to messages, maintain security, prevent abuse, understand general site usage, comply with legal obligations, and protect legitimate rights and interests.

Personal information is not sold in exchange for money. If future site practices materially change, this policy will be updated accordingly.

7. Data Retention

Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain appropriate business records, to meet legal or security requirements, or until you request deletion where applicable.

Newsletter information may remain with MailerLite while you are subscribed and may be retained afterward as reasonably necessary to honor unsubscribe requests, document consent, maintain suppression records, or meet legal and security needs. Contact-form submissions and correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.

Third-party providers may also retain limited information according to their own account settings, retention schedules, legal obligations, and privacy policies.

8. Your Choices & Unsubscribe Rights

You may choose not to provide optional personal information. You may unsubscribe from newsletter emails at any time through the unsubscribe link provided in those messages.

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may also give you rights regarding access to, correction of, deletion of, or other control over certain personal information. Requests may be submitted using the contact information below. Identity verification may be required where appropriate.

9. Children's Privacy

This website is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and personal information from individuals under the age of 18 is not knowingly collected. If such information is discovered to have been provided without appropriate authorization, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it.

10. Security

Reasonable administrative and technical measures may be used to protect information associated with the website. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, however, and absolute security cannot be promised.

11. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the website, service providers, legal requirements, or information practices. When material changes are made, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised.
